Tapori Day at MULTIDOTS

We had a fantastic Tapori Day at MULTIDOTS on 28th February 2010. It had a lots of fun and fear as well.

Everyone came up with unbelievable getup. Simply superb act and appearance by everyone. Aslam, Narendra, Jimit and Chirag was looking like a real tapories and horrible too. Have a look at this album. Don’t mess with them, they are dangerous.

For whom do you pray?

At MULTIDOTS, we do pray to our God everyday before we start our works. The interesting thing about the prayer is we don’t pray for ourselves but we do for others. Just before we start to pray, we decide for whom we pray today. It could be any person, event or anything. We have prayed for many peoples, problems and events so far. Here is the list we prayed for.

  • For our parents.
  • For India on India-Srilanka match, for our team.
  • For Gautam’s love, for safety of people living on coastal area at the time of Phyan.
  • For all the handicap people in this world.
  • For Tim’s baby ( our client ).
  • For Vandemataram song conflict.
  • For Ashok’s recovery when he was not feeling well.
  • My ex-colleague Jignisha was expired so we prayed to give her peace and strength to her family.
  • For newly joined employee – Hitesh.
  • For success of JOGS Event.
  • For people we met on JOGS event.
  • For Megha – my friend on her birthday.
  • Team prayed for my quick recovery when I was sick.
  • For Curt – our client on his birthday.
  • For Nicholas on his project demonstration.
  • For newly wedded couples.
  • For Drew our client – when we knew he was not feeling well.
  • For my brother and bhabhi on their marriage anniversary.
  • For our ( Me and Aslam ) entrance exam on International Business Management study at Ahmedabad Management Association.
  • For all our clients.
  • For our friends.
  • For Juniyas to come out from his problems.
  • For our beloved ones.

Actually, list is quite long and I forget some of them. But I will keep updating this list.

I am thankful to Juniyas for bringing such a great idea. Yes, generally we do pray for ourselves most of the time. But it’s even a great feeling when you do pray for others. I am thankful to my team as well who are doing this noble pray everyday at MULTIDOTS.

JOGS – Completed with lots of joy!

JOGS – Joy Of Giving Sunday

In my last post I have written about an event. The event was JOGS. It’s a great pleasure to inform you that we have successfully executed the event. Many friends had supported to make this event possible. Here is the some brief and snaps of this event.

We have decided to execute a pilot event first rather a big one. So, we had not done any big efforts to make this event huge. We had started to speak with our friends and neighbors. Idea was will buy foods and statinery and will get the old clothes from our neighbors and friends. Many of our friends and friend’s of friends has contributed to this event.

Many many thanks to Shailesh Joshi, Prashant Sachaniya, Naresh Kakkad, Viral Pathak (for giving his bike), Juniyas Bhagat (Provided Cloths), Yogendra Rathod (for his Digital Camera ), Hitesh Parmar, Ashok Chauhan, Kaushik Baroliya, Gautam Lakum, Aslam Multani, Jimit Shah, Hitesh Anjara, Prashant Patel, MULTIDOTS and all the people who had contributed their clothes and provided best wishes for this event. We had collected Rs. 2100 as donation for this event. We purchased foods and stationery from this money.

So it was Sunday Morning, we had everything ready and everyone was quite excited to make this possible. Everyone gathered at MULTIDOTS office at by 8:30 AM. We prayed for everything good for this event. At 9:00 AM we started to march. We had decided will go to Nalsarovar via Bavala and will carry out this charity on villages on the way. It was a great bike riding fun for me as well as I am quite crazy about driving. Around  10:00 AM, we were on a small village. We had distributed foods, clothes and stationery on that village.

After that we started to move. We reached at another village at 11:00 AM. There is a huge temple in this village. We made ourselves fresh and invited small kids around the temple for a movie and computer education. Kids enjoyed that lot, it was a great fun. We had also distributed foods and stationery to kids and clothes to their parents.

Now it was time to reach at “Nalsarovar” as everyone was quite hungry. We drove our bikes above 80km/hour it was a crazy time but had a fun too. We reached at 12:00 to Nalsarovar. We parked our vehicles. There is some regular arrangement of lunch at “Nalsarovar”. People at lake front offer unlimited lunch at Rs.50 on their small hut. We decided to enjoy it. We also agreed to take a ride around lake on boats after lunch. After visiting a small island and beautiful birds on lake we were ready to back at 3:00 PM.

As per our plan, we choose another route this time. It was for “Sanand”. We found many poor people and needy pupils on the way. We were moving forward and giving clothes, foods and stationery to villagers on the way. Finally at 5:00 we all reached to Sanand and everything we had to distribute was over. Around by 7:00 we all came to Ahemedabad.

It was a great Joy of giving for all of us and huge fun too.

Joy of Giving Sunday

Dear All,

It’s really a nice feeling for me while I am sharing a great idea we have thought about. We were thinking do some kind of activity on this Sunday, 22nd November 2009 – like movie,  Hill station, beach, Reading, Games, etc. but none of this  was an interesting idea for us. So, we are agreed to give some thought tonight and will make it finalize by tomorrow. I was digging into internet for some ideas. Luckily, I came across to a wonderful idea that was “Joy of Giving“. Yes, recently India has celebrated a very heart touching event held between 27 Sep – 3 Oct , “Joy of Giving Week“. It’s amazing!

Here are couple of great and inspiring videos supporting this event.

So, We thought to work on this concept. We thought to celebrate this Sunday as “Joy of Giving Sunday“.
I am from a poor family. It was not that much easy  for me to get a good education. My family had to suffer a lot to make all the possible arrangement for my study. I am always thankful to all school teachers for giving me scholarship, my college professor for making special arrangement for me so that I can do study and job together, my friends to support me, my relatives to give me money when I wanted to buy my first computer and all who are wishing good for me always. It is the same story with other team fellow at MULTIDOTS. No one of us is rich by born we all had to struggle and compromise to reach here.

I believe, there are many people in this world who are in need and waiting for a single kind soul to help them what they really need. We thought to give anything that is possible or whatever we can make possible for needy people on this Sunday. So, We have prepared an activity list to do as part of  “Joy of Giving Sunday” event. We had also agreed to ride on bike that will be fun! Here, I have shared few activities we are planning to do.

  • Will go to some rural/village near to Ahmedabad and will entertain children with some computer animations and similar fun.
  • Will distribute stationery to needy pupils.
  • Will also distribute warm/regular clothes to poor people.

Do you like this idea? Do you want to help us?  No matter who you are – young or old, rich or poor, men or women – you can experience a special kind of joy. And that is the joy of ‘giving’.

  • Join  us on this Sunday – Call : 9824810781 or Email – anil@multidots.in.
  • Provide us your old/unused clothes – Call : 9913374885 or Email – aslam@multidots.in.
  • Suggest us other great activity that can possibly included – Call : 9824810781 or Email – anil@multidots.in.
  • Spread this message.
  • Not able to join/reach us ! No worry do it in your society or street or home, alone or together doesn’t matter.

I hope for your possible support on this. I will keep posting other things and updates till Sunday.

Have a great Joy!

Responsibility : Power and Freedom

In our last TLT (TL’s Training) we had a nice discussion on Responsibility. Nirav Mehta said that Power comes from Responsibility. Now it was my turn to share this thought in my team. As a part of my preparation for the TLT which I was going to take I found a nice article on Responsibility by Nisandeh Neta. So I decided to do this exercise in my TLT. Here is something which we did.

  • Everyone was organized in 2×3 matrix in their chair.
  • First Colomn : Twinke,Pratik,Hitesh
  • Second Coloumn : Jignesh, Malay, Sanjay, Kushan.
  • I asked everyone to close their eyes and to listen what I say and put themselves in my words.
  • I asked them to experience a journey in a bus. I was also asking them to experience the things which happens in this bus.
  • First they had nominated someone to drive their bus.
  • Then they were feeling what sort of things went wrong while they were siting in last row and choose not to drive.
  • Then I asked them to take driver’s sit and feel that steering wheel of the bus is on their own hands. Things had been changed now.
  • They felt freedom and power on their hand.
  • That’s all responsibility comes with.

Summery of the Article :

  • Life is a bus.
  • Bus has a destination plate written but we hardly care to read it.
  • We generally nominate some one experienced to drive our bus. It may be your father, mother, legal adviser, etc.
  • During this journey we sit last and wasting our time in useless things.
  • Some feel bored, some fall sleep, some feel emptiness.
  • Everything in the bus will be of the choice of driver: destination, ways, musics.
  • Now you are taking the steering wheel in your own hands.
  • When you sit in front you will see road ahead of you, everything is fresh, new and exciting.
  • You can choose someone experienced and one you like to navigate the way but ultimate decision should be yours.
  • Destination is the only excuse for the journey so enjoy the ride.
  • In the plate of the destination of this bus was written “Freedom“.

Feedback after this exercise :

Kushan : He said we should set some good example for our spouse and we can do it only if we take responsibility.

Malay : I will drive my own bus with lots of power and freedom.

Jignesh : Will take advices from the family and friends but final decision will be mine.

Pratik : In initial stage we should let our father and mother to drive our life and once we get onfidence we should humbley and smoothly take steering.

Twinkle : Nice experience. Our decision may affect many other peoples like husband, father, mother, brother, mother-in-law, friends but the most it affects is you so take steering on your hands and select the correct path.

Sanjay : Always choose someone to navigate the way.

Hitesh : We already drive our life by our own but we never feel that power and responsibilty. So feel it and enjoy the life.

Anil : Don’t blame on anyone for anything happens with you. If you want power and want to feel the freedom take the responsility and set the examples.
